Have you been procrastinating on your Pinterest strategy because you don’t have time to keep up with it consistently? We’ve all been there. Success on Pinterest is all about pinning consistently, and creating fresh pins for your content on a regular basis. But even when you know this, actually acting on this advice is easier said than done right?

HOW TO SAVE TIME ON YOUR PINTEREST STRATEGY.png

When people ask me how I manage to get Pinterest working so well for my business, I always introduce them to my not-so-secret weapon - Tailwind. For years, I’ve been using Tailwind to schedule all of my pins, so I can sit down once a week (on a Sunday, with a tea and a cosy film, obvs), and plan out all of my pins for the week in one sitting. This usually takes me about two hours, and then that’s all my work on Pinterest done for the week. Yep, you read that correctly, two hours a week. To put that in perspective, I spend at least two hours a day on Instagram.

Why I genuinely think Tailwind is the best Pinterest scheduler out there:

  • Tailwind is a Pinterest approved partner, so you will never be penalised for scheduling pins from an outside source.

  • They have a brilliant relationship with Pinterest, and they are always up to date with the most recent best practices as they develop.

  • You can schedule weeks or months in advance with unlimited pin scheduling, so you can choose a workflow that works best for you (weekly tends to suit me better).

  • The Smart Schedule feature helps you set up a schedule with times where there’s more likelihood of engagement.

  • The Tailwind browser extension gives you another super quick and handy option to pin from elsewhere on the internet (including quick repinning from other accounts on Pinterest).

  • Insights into your account are included, so you can see how your pins are performing at a glance.

  • Tailwind Communities - where you can collaborate with other content creators in your niche and get more eyes on your pins.

  • Smart Loop helps you reshare your best pins with minimal effort.

  • and last but certainly not least, the brand new Tailwind Create - an incredible tool where you can create designer-quality pins at the click of a button, so now with Tailwind you can create, schedule, publish and analyse your pins, all in one place.

What is Tailwind Create, and how do I get my hands on it?

If you haven’t heard of Tailwind Create yet then pal, you are in for a treat. It’s Tailwind’s latest feature update, and it’s a tool for creating multiple pin designs right in their interface (and drop-dead GORGEOUS ones at that) ready to drop straight into your scheduler. Honestly when I first saw the tool working my jaw hit the floor, it’s such an incredible time-saver. All the designs are personalised to your brand and customisable for your niche, and the best bit is they’re built with Pinterest best practices in mind - so you know they’ll have more likelihood of getting great engagement and traction on the platform.

Here are some sneak peeks of the interface in action:

You can customise your brand settings, choose your fonts, colour pallet and upload your logo to personalise the designs to suit your business.

For each piece of content you want to create pin designs for, you can set the destination link, title and upload a set of your own photos, or choose from thousands of stock photos to add to your designs.

TAILWIND CREATE HOW TO USE.jpg

Once you’ve set these options for your content and clicked “create images”, Tailwind Create will generate hundreds of beautiful, professional looking pin designs for you in seconds. It really is like MAGIC. You can then choose your favourites, edit them, and drop them straight into your Tailwind schedule, ready to be auto-posted to Pinterest while you kick back and have a cup of tea.

This tool is honestly going to save me HOURS of work creating pins for Pinterest, it’s such a game changer. Here are a few more reasons why I love this new tool:

  • It helps me come up with designs that I would never have thought of trying, which helps me break out of my usual design habits and experiment more with my pins.

  • You don’t have to be a professional designer to have designer-quality pins. I have design training, so I’m quite picky about the pin templates I use, and I’ve been so impressed with what Tailwind Create has to offer design-wise.

  • This tool, for me, has eliminated my need to outsource my pin creation. It’s streamlined the whole process and has saved hours and hours of pin creation time I’d usually be spending, that I can now use to grow my business in other areas.

  • Everything for my pins is now kept in one place, which saves time and hassle organising all my files to then manually upload.

  • You can literally go from idea to pin in 30 seconds, the speed of this tool is incredible.

  • I’m also so excited to introduce Tailwind Create to my 1-1 clients and course students, who are often time poor but really want to be harnessing the power of Pinterest for their businesses.
